Privacy policy

The short version

• Your models, meshes and results stay on your machine. The solver does not upload them and the hub cannot see them.
• This website sets no cookies and loads no third-party resources. No analytics, no ads, no trackers.
• Usage telemetry and crash reports are opt-in, and personal data is scrubbed on your machine before anything is sent.

What the licensing hub stores, and why

Account

Your e-mail address and a password hash, used to operate your portal account, license and downloads. Legal basis: performance of the license contract.

License and activations

Your license key, its seat count and term, and per activation the application version, the OS version and a one-way hash of a hardware identifier (hwid hash). The hash enforces seat limits and trial rules. The raw hardware identifier never leaves your machine. Legal basis: performance of contract and prevention of license abuse.

Telemetry, only if you opt in

If you enable it, the application sends coarse usage events (which solver command ran, its duration, whether it succeeded), the application version and the OS version, keyed to a random install identifier. File paths and user names are scrubbed on your machine before sending, and the events carry no model data, geometry or results. Turning telemetry off stops it immediately. Legal basis: consent.

Crash reports, only with your consent

On an unhandled error the application asks before sending a report. The stack trace is scrubbed locally, with paths and user names removed, and the server groups reports by a fingerprint of the scrubbed trace. Legal basis: consent.

Feedback and contact messages

What you type into the in-app feedback dialog or this site's contact form, with the e-mail address you optionally provide, stored so we can answer you. It is sent only when you press the button, and sending is the consent.

What we deliberately do not do

• No third-party analytics or advertising services, in the product or on this site.
• No sale or sharing of personal data with third parties for their own purposes.
• No collection of model content. Geometry, meshes, material data, results and signals are never transmitted.

Retention

Account and license records are kept for the life of the account plus the period required by tax and commercial law. Opt-in telemetry and crash reports are kept in identifiable-by-install form no longer than the engineering purpose needs, then deleted or aggregated. Feedback threads are kept while the conversation is live and archived afterwards. [Exact retention periods to be fixed at legal review.]

Your rights and contact
